The founding idea at the origin of the LC6 table, presented in 1929 at the Salon d'Automne, lies in the distinction between the supporting element and the carried element, i.e. between the base and the top. The autonomy of the two parts is underlined by four intermediate supports which serve both as level regulators and as separators between the density of the support and the fine lines of the top. The base as such was designed in 1928, inspired by the ovoid shapes used in the aeronautical sector for the separation of the wings of biplanes.Price information
